Day 1 Welcome to Istanbul / Overnight in Istanbul / 17 Days Turkey Tour Begins
Once you land in Istanbul, you will be greeted by our crew and transported to your hotel for check-in. After you have settled in, we will meet you in person to deliver your envelope with your official itinerary, vouchers and tickets over a warm and welcoming cup of Turkish coffee or tea while we brief you shortly about your Turkey tour. The rest of the day will be yours to chill out before your first overnight stay in Istanbul in the arrival day of our 17 Days Turkey Tour.
Day 2 Istanbul Old City Walking Tour/ Overnight in Istanbul
Pick-up from the hotel early in the morning to begin the 17 Days Turkey Tour with the full-day Old City tour, drop-off at the hotel and overnight in Istanbul. Destinations for the Old City your are as follows: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, The Hippodrome of Constantinople, Obelisk of Theodosius, Serpentine Column, German Fountain, The Million, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar.
Day 3 ANZAC & Gallipoli Tour / Transfer to Canakkale / Overnight in Canakkale
Early morning pick-up from the hotel, transfer to Canakkale via a 4,5-hour scenic ride. After lunch in Eceabat, move onto ANZAC & Gallipoli Tour, transport to hotel in Canakkale for an overnight stay on the third day of our 17 Days Turkey Tour. Destinations for ANZAC & Gallipoli Tour are as follows: ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Burial Site, Lone Pine, Johnston’s Jolly, Turkish Memorial, Nek Cemetery, Chunuk Bair.
Day 4 Troy & Pergamon Tour / Transfer to Kusadasi / Overnight in Kusadasi
Morning pick-up from the hotel in Canakkale will be followed by a transfer to Troy for the Troy Tour. This epic city as told in the book of legends, Illiad by Homer boasts spots like The Trojan Horse, excavation info center, Troy Ancient City with walls of Troy IV, Museum of Troy, Temple of Athena, agora ramps of Troy II and Odeon. After we complete our excursion in Troy, we will move onto Pergamon for Pergamon tour with stunning artifacts such as Acropolis of Pergamon, library, temples of Artemis and Trajan, gymnasium, lower agora, amphitheater, and Temple of Dionysos. Upon ending of the tour in the late afternoon, you will be transferred to hotel in Kusadasi. This lovely Aegean town will present you with an incredible opportunity to taste delicious Aegean-style Turkish food accompanied by a glorious view of the Greek island Samos at a seaside restaurant in the close vicinity of your hotel. Bearing in mind that you have an early morning departure for the tour next day, you will stay overnight in Kusadasi on the fourth day of our 17 Days Turkey Tour.
Day 5 Ephesus Ancient City Tour / Overnight in Kusadasi
Morning pick-up from the hotel, transfer to the tour region for the Ephesus Ancient City tour. Upon ending of the tour transfer to your hotel in Kusadasi resort town for an overnight stay on the fifth day of our 17 Days Turkey Tour. Destinations for the Ephesus Ancient City Tour are as follows: Temple of Hadrian, Ephesus Ancient City, Celsus Library, House of Virgin Mary, Saint John’s Basilica.
Day 6 Priene, Miletos & Didyma Tour / Overnight in Kusadasi
Morning pick-up from the hotel, transfer to the tour region for the full-day PMD Tour. The three iconic ancient cities Priene, Miletos and Didyma will be visited in a ceremonial order before your transfer to the hotel in Kusadasi resort town for an overnight stay on the sixth night of our 17 Days Turkey Tour.
Day 7 Pamukkale & Hierapolis Ancient City Tour / Transfer to Marmaris / Overnight in Marmaris
Morning pick-up from the hotel, transfer to the tour region, Pamukkale & Hierapolis Ancient City Tour. Upon ending of the tour, transfer to the bus station for your ride to Marmaris. Once you have arrived, you will be transferred to your hotel in Marmaris for an overnight stay on the seventh day of our 17 Days Turkey Tour. Destinations for the Pamukkale & Hierapolis Ancient City tour are as follows: Karahayit (Red Pamukkale), Hierapolis Ancient City, Hierapolis Museum, The Byzantine Church, Ancient Theater of Hierapolis, The Agora, White Terrace.
Day 8 Blue Cruise Begins / Overnight on the Boat
In the afternoon, you will be picked up by our crew from your hotel and transported to Marmaris Harbor to board the boat. Towards the evening, you will have your dinner and have your first stay onboard off the harbor, watching the clear Mediterranean sky.
Day 9 Blue Cruise / Overnight on the Boat
After breakfast, you will be briefed shortly about the cruise. Later on we will cruise down to Gulf of Ekincik. It is possible to take an optional side-tour here to Dalyan on a smaller boat and have a swimming break on Turtle Beach. Afterwards, we cruise around the delta, have a glimplse of the ancient rock tombs and down the river towards the mud baths. Today’s program ends with a visit to the peaceful authentic fishing village of Dalyan. You will have dinner and overnight in Gulf of Ekincik.
Day 10 Blue Cruise / Overnight on the Boat
Early in the morning we start sailing to the famous Gulf of Gocek. You will enjoy our exquisite breakfast while anchored in Adali Bay. Next up is the Manastir Bay, also known as Cleopatra Bay due to the amazing submerged remains of ancient baths in the area. You will have a swimming break here, along with lunch. And then we move onto the naturally sheltered Tersane Bay – where you will have dinner and overnight on the boat.
Day 11 Blue Cruise / Overnight in Fethiye
Early in the morning after breakfast, we set sail to Kizil Island for swimming break and lunch. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Fethiye Harbor where you will disembark with a completely freshened mind and soul. Our driver will be waiting for you at the harbor. Once you are picked up, you will be transferred to your hotel in Fethiye. After checking-in, you will have the rest of the day for yourself to explore the nearby area or rest at your hotel to build up more energy. Overnight in Fethiye.
Day 12 Tlos Ancient City & Saklikent Trip / Overnight in Fethiye
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up by our guide and driver, in order to be transferred to the tour region for the full-day Tlos & Saklikent Trip. The starter of the day will be the remains of Tlos Ancient City, which used to be the pearl of the area as a Lycian settlement back in the old days. According to the myths, Bellerophon lived here with the winged steed Pegasus. After Tlos, we move onto Yakakoy, a local haven with friendly residents, magical gardens and restaurants offering a vast variety of traditional Turkish food. We have our lunch here. Finally, we arrive in Saklikent Gorge – the second largest gorge in the world. Optional swimming and rafting will be available here. Upon the ending of the tour, our crew will meet you once again and transfer you to your hotel in Fethiye for an overnight stay. Overnight in Fethiye.
Day 13 Free Time in Fethiye / Flight to Cappadocia via Istanbul / Overnight in Cappadocia
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a few hours of free time before your pick-up from the hotel to the aiport for the flight to Cappadocia via Istanbul. Upon arrival in Cappadocia, you will be transferred to your authentic cave hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 14 Optional Hot Air-Balloon Tour / North Cappadocia Tour / Overnight in Cappadocia
If you choose to take the hot air-balloon tour, you will get picked-up from the hotel around the time of sunrise, transferred to take-off site for the exhilarating hot air-balloon tour, then get transferred back to hotel for breakfast.
Afterwards pick-up from the hotel, transfer to the tour site and North Cappadocia tour, transfer to authentic cave hotel for overnight stay in Cappadocia. Destinations for the North Cappadocia tour are as follows: Goreme Open-Air Museum, Esentepe Panorama, Pasabag, Avanos Pottery Workshop, The Red River.
Day 15 South Cappadocia Tour / Overnight in Cappadocia
Early morning pick-up from the hotel, South Cappadocia tour, transfer to your authentic cave hotel for an overnight stay. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Kusadasi resort town for overnight stay. Destinations for the SouthCappadocia tour are as follows: Meskendir Valley, Rose Valley, Cavusin Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Pigeon Valley, Uchisar Castle.
Day 16 Free Time in Cappadocia / Flight to Istanbul
Pick-up from the hotel around noon, transfer to the airport for your 75-minute flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 17 Transfer to Airport
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the airport for your departure flight – which concludes our services in the 17 Days Turkey Tour, hopefully with good memories of us and our country in your mind and a long-lasting smile on your face.
