After a morning cruise of the historical sites along the Bosphorus, we will disembark and move to Dolmabahce Palace for an excursion. Upon the completion of the tour, we will hit the road for a 4,5-hour drive to Canakkale. In the morning, you will get picked-up from the hotel for the transfer to Konya. Later on, you will move on to Cappadocia for an evening arrival. After check-in to the authentic cave hotel, you may have a couple of hours of free time to visit the town center for an amazing dinner. Bear in mind that the next day’s departure for the hot air-balloon trip will be quite early, so you will need as much sleep as you can get!

Very early morning pick-up from the hotel around the time of sunrise, transfer to the take-off site for the hot air-balloon tour, transfer back to the hotel for breakfast. You will get picked up from your hotel by our guide and driver early in the morning, to make the most of daylight on your 9th day of the Classic Turkey Tour. On our way to Kahta province of Adiyaman in Eastern Turkey, we will catch glimpses of the glorious Mount Erciyes in Kayseri, amazing early Seljuk architecture in Karatay and Kahramanmaras city – where we might get a chance to stop by for its world-renown Turkish-style ice cream. Following an early morning pick-up from the hotel, our day will begin with an excursion to one of the oldest settlements in Mesopotamian history: Gobekli Tepe. Founded in 10th Century BC, this incredibly well-preserved settlement belongs to the Pre-Pottery Neolithic Period. Afterwards, we will pass through the Birecik province of Sanliurfa on our way to Gaziantep City. Aside from its fair share of ancient history and a past full of bravery, Gaziantep is also home of the world’s best baklava – ever since it was created there. Once we are done with our trip around the city, our guide will take you to our final stop, Zeugma Museum, to get informed about one of the finest collections of ancient mosaics in existence. Later on, we will head to the airport for our 1,5-hour flight back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our crew and transferred to your hotel in Istanbul for your final overnight stay in Turkey in the Classic Turkey Tour.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time to finalize your shopping or say farewell to Istanbul by going out for a cup of coffee with the view of Bosphorus, depending on your flight schedule. At a pre-set time according to your departure flight, our crew will transfer you to the airport – which concludes our services in the Classic Turkey Tour.
