5 Days Istanbul Tour

When you feel like you just cannot get enough of Istanbul, our 5 Days Istanbul Tour has got you covered with it everything you can possibly imagine.

Day 1  Istanbul Old City Walking Tour / 5 Days Istanbul Tour Begins

Early in the morning, our professional guide will meet you at your hotel and begin the Istanbul Old City Walking Tour. Starting with the magnificent Hagia Sophia museum, the excursion will take you around breathtaking destinations such as the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome of Constantinople, Obelisk of Theodosius, Topkapi Palace, Serpentine Column, German Fountain, Grand Bazaar and more, with lunch at a Turkish restaurant in Old City. Once your daily epic journey comes to an end, our guide will accompany you to your hotel. Your guide and hotel staff will also be able to give you some recommendations for where you can have a nice dinner at a restaurant in your hotel’s vicinity before an overnight stay on the first night of our 5 Days Istanbul Tour.

Day 2  Bosphorus Cruise and Dolmabahce Palace Tour

Morning pick-up from the hotel after breakfast, transfer to the harbor to board the boat, full-day morning cruise of the historical sites along the Bosphorus like the Golden Horn, Byzantine City Walls, Spice Bazaar, the Bosphorus, Rumeli Fortress and more. Once you disembark at the harbor, our guide will take you to a selected restaurant where you will be able to taste some traditional Turkish dishes for lunch. After lunch, our excursion will continue to Dolmabahce where you will have an extensive narrative. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Old City for an overnight stay on the last overnight of our 5 Days Istanbul Tour.

Day 3 Istanbul Culinary Tour

Our journey into the land of innumerable tastes will begin right at your doorstep on the third day of 5 Days Istanbul Tour, as you are picked by our guide from your hotel in the morning and transported to Besiktas. One of the oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods of the city, Besiktas embodies the vast cultural heritage that keeps building itself up in its community and surroundings. Once we have adored the stunning view of the Bosphorus, we will take a walk into the local market; passing through narrow stone streets with authentic meyhanes (traditional Turkish ‘pubs’) and small restaurants serving light food, mainly great breakfast material. The streets that we stroll through will show you the contemporary state of Istanbul, combining the old and modern alike. Here at one of those restaurants, we will begin our first tasting with menemen (Turkish style scrambled eggs with a special spicy sauce and vegetables) and bal kaymak – clotted cream mixed with natural honey, along with some proper Turkish tea. Once we have fueled up for the journey ahead, we will pick up some Turkish bakery from the old Ottoman bakeries and hop on the boat for a cross between two continents, through the mythical Bosphorus. Our destination on the Asian side of the city will be the market in Uskudar, a large part of the city where the food culture of old times is perfectly preserved. Honey vendors, olive shops, candymakers and more will be on our long list of tasting before we head to the mesmerizing district of Kuzguncuk. Here, we will not only taste amazing authentic food – we will also taste the air brimming with what is left from days of old when Jews, Christians and Muslims lived together in peace, creating an atmosphere one can only perceive truly by standing in the middle of it. Food shops of artisans, small restaurants and local food producers will open their doors to us for an extensive and enjoyable ending to our trip. Once we are full both in our stomachs and in our souls, we will head back to the hotel which concludes the day.

Day 4 Trip to the Islands / Princes Islands Tour / Transfer Back to Hotel

Early in the morning, our day starts with the pick-up by bus from your hotel, and a short ride to Kabatas port to take the ferry out to Princes Islands Tour. After an approximately 90-minute cruise around the other parts of Princes Islands, we begin our visit on the lovely Buyukada. The first activity on Buyukada is an extensive tour of the island by an authentic horse-carrriage, driven by a professional driver. Upon the ending of the tour by carriage, we stop by a seaside restaurant of your choice or our recommendation, to taste the numerous types of seafood for lunch. Right after lunch, you will have about 2 hours of free time to explore the land of princes on your own, or simply enjoy the view on the coastline, observing Istanbul from right across. Late in the afternoon, we take the ferry back to Kabatas. Upon arrival, we pick you up by bus and transport you back to your hotel on the fourth night of our 5 Days Istanbul Tour.

Day 5  Istanbul Bazaars Tour / Taksim & Galata Trip / End of Services

Following a pick-up from the hotel after breakfast, our guide will take you to the beginning point of your tour in Arasta Bazaar in the Old City. Later on, we will walk up to Grand Bazaar – the most widely-known bazaar in Istanbul. After Grand Bazaar, you will be taken to the famous Spice Market in Eminonu district for a narrated visit of the market and its surroundings. From there, the journey will take you to Taksim Square – the modern heart of Istanbul. Our guide will accompany you through Istiklal Avenue, eventually ending up in Galata where we will drop by a Turkish restaurant for lunch. Once your trip in the area comes to an end, our crew will pick you up once again for your transfer to your hotel – which concludes our services in the 5 Days Istanbul Tour of Istanbul Turkey Tours.
